What OutcomeLens doesn't do
Knowing a tool’s limits is part of trusting it. Here is what OutcomeLens doesn’t do.
- It doesn’t prove your program caused a change. It shows what changed for participants over time. It can’t isolate program effect.
- It doesn’t run outside Salesforce. OutcomeLens is a managed package that lives in your Salesforce org. You need a Salesforce org to use it.
- It doesn’t keep a copy of your data anywhere else. Forms, answers, and scores stay in your org. There is no outside copy.
- It doesn’t decide what progress means for you. It ships with no default classifications. Your program defines its own tiers and thresholds.
- It doesn’t blend measures built to stay apart. Measures that shouldn’t be averaged together aren’t, even when one combined number would look tidier.
- It doesn’t show a group too small to keep private. When a count is small enough that someone could be recognized, it is hidden.
- It isn’t a case management system. It measures outcomes alongside the case management tools you use, not instead of them.
- It doesn’t combine reporting across separate Salesforce orgs. Each organization’s reporting stays within its own org.
